| Registration begins at 1pm at the Chalet, in the Hancock Fairgrounds, and is for youths from 3 to 17 years of age. | |

Races began at 2pm, with 4 “classes” of races, by distance, and by experience. Here, the longest distance, the start of the 6 kilometer race. | |
Here the 4 K race begins. The event is sponsored by the Sons of Norway, (Lodge 5-670), Keweenaw Nordic Ski Club, Portage Health Systems, and the City of Hancock. While times will be kept, the race is more in fun, than competitive, and teaches youngsters at an early age that skiing can be great fun and exercise. |
