Following voter approval of a bond issue, Hancock Public Schools broke ground for a new Middle School, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. |

| The new middle school will be located on property immediately North and adjacent to the new High School. | |
Observing the ceremony are 6th and 7th grade students, who will move to the new school in Dec., 2009. | |
