Welcoming all the dignitaries, was MTU Enterprise Corporation Smart Zone C.E.O. Carlton Crothers. The new facility will add 50 new jobs to the Copper Country.
Acting as Master of Ceremonies was GE Aviation's Director of Engineering Systems, Don Eenigenburg. A $1 million grant by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, along with a nearly equal amount infused by GE Aviation, helped to renovate (for the second time in the past 5 years) and expand the building.
State Representative Mike Lahti spoke of the benefits and the support from the State of Michigan. |
