The Thimbleberry Band is playing old-time Copper Country music at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, this Sat, April 21 for your dancing and listening, from 7-10 PM. This is to honor Earth Day, and to be a fundraiser for Finn Fest 2013, but mostly to celebrate our two youngest members as they graduate from MTU, and (sadly) from our band. Coleman Segal (mandolin) will be going on to law school in Calif, and Matt Durocher (bass) will spend a year in Japan with his wife before pursuing his graduate studies.
Come on out and dance to the music of our Finnish, Slovenian, Croatian, French-Candadian, and Irish roots--and give the boys your advice and good wishes.
Admission is $5 at the door--children free.
