FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTIONS:
Precinct I Votes at the Hancock City Hall
Precinct II Votes at the Barkell Elementary
PURPOSE OF THIS ELECTION:
"This proposal will allow the school district to levy the statutory rate of 18 mills on all property, except principal residence and other property exempted by law, required for the school district to receive its revenue per pupil foundation allowance."
Current millage expired witht he 2011 tax levy (17.7768 mills) and .2232 mill is a restoration of millage lost as a result of the reduction required by the Michigan Constitution of 1963. Estimated revenue the school district will collect if approved in 2012 is approximately $925,000. |
