A RAINY SUMMER PERIOD GAVE WAY TO FINE WEATHER JUST IN TIME FOR THE 14TH ANNUAL BRIDGEFEST CELEBRATION. EVENTS STARTED FRIDAY EVENING, WITH THE BRIDGEFEST PARADE, AND ROTARY’S SEAFOOD FEST.

Our lead off photo, as always, is of the Celebration namesake, the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, joining the cities of Hancock & Houghton, here, showing the Keweenaw Excursions boat – Keweenaw Star.

Leading off the Parade Friday evening was the American Legion Post 186 (Hancock) Color Guard, followed by the Hancock Fire Department pumper truck.
