The nearly $320,000 project, funding by the MDOT Enhancement Fund, and a 20% matching local fund, will be overseen by U.P. Engineers and Architects, Inc. . Here we see Reservation St. prior to the start of construction.

This is a view of Front St., before the start-up. The project will include replacing corner area sidewalk ramps, to make it viable for wheelchair accessibility, and easier for senior citizens to gain access to the sidewalks from street level. Crosswalks will also be replaced.

Part of the work will entail building a small new park on the south side of Front St., just beyond the end of the building on the right, the former Elks Clubrooms. New street light posts will also be installed to give a better effect for incoming visitors.
