2007 Heikinpaiva Celebration
The 10th Annual mid winter Heikinpaiva Celebration, celebrating the mid point of winter (when the bear rolls over), with this year the lightest winter in recorded history so far, with only some 60 inches of snowfall at the Houghton County Memorial Airport.

This group of girls goes together for moral support. A large number of participants braved the icy cold water and cold air temperature (fortified by a really hot sauna). Kudos to everyone who helped and made the events possible. Join us next January for the 11th annual Heikenpaiva Celebration.
