Hancock Fire Department Has New Pumper Unit
The Hancock Fire Department took possession of a new pumper unit this month (June), 2006.

Arriving in town, the new unit pulls into the Department lot.

This new pumper will replace an aging truck, with up to date equipment.

A number of the Department's Volunteer Firemen came out to look at the new vehicle, including Fire Chief John Gedda (center).

One of the new conveniences is a motorized ladder swing out unit.

Becoming familiar wih the unit cab is Volunteer Fireman Joe Neher. The vehicle is a very welcome addition to the City's fire fighting equipment.
