Combat Duty Over ... National Guard Comes Home
Fire Trucks, Police cars, all formed a miles long caravan, to escort returning local Army National Guard personnel, coming home after a long combat tour in Iraq. Grateful for the safe return of all personnel from Michigan's Company A, B & C, from the Calumet, Baraga, and Gladstone Armories, crowds turned out on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2006, to welcome them home.

Superior National Bank personnel get things ready to
welcome the huge returning convoy, swelled by well wishers. Even local
schools let students out early, to participate, many of whom had parents
or relatives coming home.
