Visitors to the Waterway
The Keweenaw Waterway and
Hancock/Houghton, saw some unusual visitors this summer. On Saturday, Aug.
6, saw the first of two trips of the Grand Caribe cruise ship, and, on Aug.
11, saw the arrival of two NY seaplanes. |

The ship carries over 100
passengers, and is the first time visiting the area. A sister ship,
the Grand Mariner, visited last year. |

It is hoped the cruise ships
will make our area a regular port of call again, as in years gone
by. |
