Portage Health Expands In 7 Million Dollar Program
A new $6.9 million dollar project by Hancock's Portage Health System, will include the adding of over 20,000 sq.ft. of new space to it's senior citizen complex, in the next year plus. The new project includes a Rehab/Education building, that will be added to the Hospital complex, on the SE side.

The middle unit ( R ), is nearly bricked in, and work on the roof is about 50% done.

Here, in late August, the middle 'house' nears outside completion, with only windows, doors, and some roof work, to complete outside construction.

The south unit has much of the roof work completed, and brick work also is about 50% done. The north 'house' is now externally done, and is undergoing internal work.

With the summer construction season in high gear now in mid June, the west side houses show an increasing level of completion.

Good weather also is helping, as the east side unit is now enclosed.

And in July, the west side units rapidly move towards closure, with one of the original houses on the right.
