Houghton County Medical Care Facility Gets Major Renovations
Covering three years, and costing some $3 million, the Houghton County Medical Care Facility, on West Quincy St., is enjoying a complete interior make over. A previous addition to the Facility was the construction of the Woodland haven addition, just to the west and adjoining, finished in 1999 (see - News & Events Archives / 1999).

Passing through the entrance, one immediately passes the renovated Lobby Sun Room. The interior changes involved new carpeting, lighting, ceiling fixtures, and changing 4-bed wards to private and semi-private rooms.
