Finlandia University granted
two Honorary Doctorate Degrees in 2005, the first to the Reverend
Antti A. Lepisto (President of the ELCA Suomi Special Interest
Conference)..

The second Honorary Doctorate
was bestowed upon His Excellency Ambassador Jukka Valtassaari (L).
He accompanied the President of Finland in the 2003 visit to
Hancock, and in addition, has had one of his sons receive a Masters
in Chemical Engineering from MTU.. (The son now works for Nokia
Corp). The City of Hancock wishes the Best for all of our area
University Graduates. KUDOS. |
