Bridgefest Celebration 2003

Fine summer weather brought large crowds of people to participate in the 16th annual Bridgefest Celebration, held jointly by the Cities of Hancock and Houghton, MI. The Celebration is held in conjunction with Rotary’s Seafood Fest, and covers three days, this year from June 13-15. The events celebrates the Portage Lake Lift Bridge, the worlds heaviest center span lift bridge, connecting the cities of Hancock & Houghton.

South Range reminds everyone of their Centennial Celebration, being held from June 27th through July 5th, with a huge parade the afternoon of the Fourth of July.
