A classical
concert in celebration & tribute to the parents of the performers, all Copper Country
natives.
In a committment to the future, proceeds went to the Ila Amanda & Arthur
Hill Endowed Scholarship Fund at Suomi College.
Arthur Hill, former Music & Choir Director at Suomi College from
1946-1967, was the Father of Karen Reynolds, Concert Flutist.
Concert performers were Karen (Hill) Reynolds, flute; Melvin Kangas,
piano/harpsichord; & Priscilla (Haapa) Hawkins, cello.

Priscilla Hawkins joins to complete the evenings trio. The trio delighted a packed
audience.

The trio rehears daily before the live concert.

Pulitzer Prize winning composer Roger Reynolds (Karen's husband), performs offstage
engineering tasks with an array of digital audio effects and master recording equipment.
